Week 6—Halfway Done!
“Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God: I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous hand.” Isaiah 41: 10
Fall—to lose the old, to have its proper place. This is one of the definitions like the verb “to fall,” but it also gives a great picture of what are to do with our old selves. We cannot hold on to parts of us and say we have surrendered. God wants all of us. God wants us to let go of the things that are holding us. When we do and those things fall… and new life comes from it.
Action: Check out the full devotional here and think about what are you still holding on to that needs to surrender. Allow God to bring newness of life.
