AFTERNOON PROGRAM
We are excited to offer a 5-week afternoon program for teens 13-18 years old. Your teen will complete Level Intro from Future 2e by Pearson as well as basic typing, and brief US history, geography, and civics. Check the schedule here.

ESL Tulip Grove is a ministry of Tulip Grove Baptist Church (tgbc.org). We start our class with a short devotional to work on reading and comprehension of literature and we are also excited to partner with our Youth’s VBS this summer on Thursday evenings. Not only will your child learn English, but also be able to hang out with other students their age on Thursdays.

Comenzamos nuestra clase con un breve estudio bíblico para practicar leyendo y comprensión de literatura y también estamos entusiasmados de asociarnos con nuestra VBS para jóvenes este verano los jueves por la noche. If you want your teen to continue education as a college student or start working after high school, your teen will need to use life skills as well as work skills for a part-time or full-time job. Future 2e prepares your teen for work and we will be adding US history, geography, and civics to complement Future 2e.

Not only will your teen have practice in class, but MyEnglishLab will also help them speak during their homework.

History
It’s not easy coming to a new country as a teenager, but we will briefly go over states here in the US as well as some history that makes up this great country. Students will also present a US state as a presentation.

Typing
If your teen is allowed to use a Chromebook or you have a laptop to bring on Typing days, we will work on typing skills to help them for work or even higher education.

Field Trip
We are looking at a field day at the TN State Museum to continue introducing our city and state that we call home.
